SEALS RESCUED from Entanglement x 3

Activists Antoine and Namib_Naude from Ocean Conservation Namibia (OCN) use their time as productively as possible to rescue 3 seals at Pelican Point. When they drove out to Pelican Point to look for seals in trouble, they identified 3 seals in different spots, and they managed to free all of them within 20 minutes of each other. With their Leatherman tool always close by, all rescues went quick and without any problems.

Although the disentanglement numbers compared to this time last year are significantly lower, there is still an obvious problem out there with discarded fishing line, fishing nets, ocean pollution and ocean plastic. Climate Change is very real and everybody needs to take action to stop and reverse the damage done to this planet. Animal rescues are a quick fix to a very complex problem.
