NEW SCREAM TRILOGY | Will Scream 5 be a Sequel?

Things have been very quiet on the SCREAM 5 front... also side note, can people please stop referring to this movie as 5CREAM (or five cream), that's a coffee order.

Anyway, I digress. We haven't gotten much info on Scream 5 as of late. All we really know so far is that Spyglass Media Group has acquired the rights to The Weinstein Company's movie library through Lantern Entertainment, which includes the Scream franchise, as well as many other horror movies released under the Dimension Films label. For example, Hellraiser, which was also announced as a project Spyglass was working on back in May 2019.

We also heard rumblings of casting negotiations that were going on with Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette, but Campbell and Arquette have both "denied" these rumors.

In this video, I will detail to you the research I've done, not only on Spyglass Media Group, but the production timeline of Scream 4, which indicates to us right now that this current movie is already moving ahead much faster than its preceding film entry.

We will also look at the evidence which suggests that Spyglass is currently rebranding itself as a new Horror Movie studio, and will likely unveil itself along with the announcement of Scream 5 as the first chapter in a new trilogy, which will be the studio's flagship franchise.
