Where Does Confidence Come From?

I'd like to give you a different understanding of the question, where does confidence come from? The answer is the source of confidence does not come from anywhere outside of you. You are already as confident as you will ever be. If you don't feel confident, it's time to tap back into the confidence you were born with that sits underneath all the stories, conditioning, and identities you've taken on that cover it up.

When you came into this world you had all the self-confidence you will ever need. Confidence isn't something you have to learn, it's something you were born with and it's often all the unconscious stories and beliefs our fear-based mind has created throughout your life that cover this up. What builds confidence is letting go of all these false masks and identities that are not the real you. What makes a person confident is they are not constantly judging themselves and inhibiting every action by letting the fear-based logical mind stop them.

When you experience anxiety before doing something like giving a speech, that part of the mind that is creating that anxiety is your fear-based analytical mind, and it's trying to keep you safe. The key to building confidence is to become the awareness of these thoughts and see what unconscious false belief is triggering this emotion within. As you become the awareness of your thoughts, you don't fall for the illusion that they create, and you stop reacting in an unconfident way. That is when you build true self-esteem and embody the confidence that sits at your core just begging to come out.

So all the confidence you'll ever need is already there. Confidence doesn't come from anywhere outside of you. It's about letting go of the old conditioning, stories, and unconscious patterns that have been creating resistance and causing you to play small and stop yourself.
