As a personal stylist and shopper in London, I work with professional women over 40, and one of the major goals of hiring me as a stylist is the desire to look ‘put together’.

Often they have problems pulling individual items together into a cohesive look, and on reviewing their wardrobe I find they may have some great clothes but they miss the basics which is essential in pulling an outfit together.

Today, in this quick video, I wanted to give you some tips to help you look 'put together' and create outfits from all the random items you may have in your wardrobe.

Once you own the key capsule wardrobe pieces in your dominant core colour, you will find it easier to get dressed so that you look, and feel, put together.
