3 Questions to Ask to Create an Effortless, Authentic Work Wardrobe

If you saw last week’s video, I told you that if you’re looking to make a change in your style and wardrobe, the first step is to understand your WHY.

I received lots of responses - a lovely surprise!

Some of the responses included;

📌I want to make partner this year.
📌I’m starting a new business, and want to be taken seriously by potential clients and investors.
📌I’ve lost confidence since menopause and I want to feel good again.
📌I want a significant pay rise to help with the school fees we’ll start paying next year.
📌I’m back in the office, and want to make my mornings less stressful!

Do any of these resonate with you? If not, and you haven’t yet asked yourself what a style and wardrobe overhaul would mean to you, don’t skip this!

The next step is another activity not related to clothes or style in any way. It’s about identifying your personal brand values - those personal qualities and values most important to you that you would like to reflect through how you show up.

This is what I mean when I ask my clients - What do you want people to know about you when they see you?

Make a note of your answers to these questions:

✔What would you like others to know about you before you have even had the chance to speak?
✔Which words best sum you up?
✔What words would those that know you well use to describe you?
✔What are your key strengths?
✔How would you like to be described?
✔Is there a quality you have, but don’t feel you project and would like to?

This is not an exhaustive list, so be sure to check in with yourself; what’s important to you may not be on the list.

What words have you come up with? Narrow them down to 5 and write them out, and maybe even stick them up somewhere you can see them regularly as a reminder.

These values words are the core of your personal brand, and we will use these to help create an authentic wardrobe and personal brand image.
