Tamiya FF01 Opel Vectra JTCC
Hello All. In this video, I will go over trimming the wheel stickers, adding tire inserts (a vintage set) & some of the kit. Plus I will be putting the sticker and tires on.
This kit came out @ 1995 kit # 58159 and although the chassis and most of the hop-up parts are period correct (I'm not sure about the tires & springs). The body set is a ReRe from the Tamiya FF03 kit from a few years back.
Some of the hop-ups already installed on the chassis when I bought;
#53226 Tamiya Touring Car Aluminum Front Hub Carries
#53192 Tamiya 4WD/FWD Touring & Rally Car Turnbuckle Upper Arm Set
#53157 Tamiya Aluminum King Pins
#53165 Tamiya FWD Touring Car Hollow Carbon Gear Shaft Set
#53098 Tamiya 4WD Stainless Steel Suspension Shaft set
The Touring/Rally car tuned spring were on the chassis, as well as full bearings (I needed to get a set for the front hubs) & I put the Semi slick tires on # 50810. This chassis uses up to 8 different gear ratios by using 6 different pinion gears and 2 spur gears (its running 22/71 right now, middle of the road ratio).
Any and All comments are welcome, questions too, I will try my best to get to each and every one of them.
I need to give a SHOUT OUT to my Buddy Kevin who just launched his YT channel, he's been working on it for a while now, Give him a look, Madmustang RC https://youtu.be/I1uug-W3VRs , He will have more content and some really good eye candy coming!!!
All the Best to everyone, Stay Safe & Thank You All for Watching!!!!
