Making a Prototype Upgrade for the "Only Oven" // Lift Arc Builds

This week we have a very quick build to share with you! The (legally distinct) "Only Oven" is gaining popularity quickly these days as they have pivoted from making camping stoves to full fledged fire pits. Its portability makes in convenient to take with you while you travel but its earning its place in the suburban back yard as a staple of the smores experience. However, one of Tay's friends came to him asking if he could make a custom metal surround that improves the safety and functionality of this trendy fire pit.

The custom accessory would address the following two key design faults:

1. The "Only Oven" gets incredibly hot on the outside when a fire is burning and there is nothing to prevent kids or pets from bumping into it.
2. The is nowhere to rest your feet or any cooking tools!

Tay got to work and used the power of our Shop Sabre plasma table to create the first prototype which he then welded into one solid piece with our Miller MIG welder. While this design works great and will last a lifetime, its tough to ship without paying a ton for freight.

So we're calling on YOU to submit suggestions for the follow-up video where we will make a modular version of the "Only Oven" surround that can be broken down and shipped for much cheaper but still maintains the rigidity of the original when assembled. Stay tuned to see what we come up with!
