Tips for Photographing Spring Flowers | 100mm Macro Lens & 100-400mm Telephoto Lens

Sharing a few tips and ideas for photographing spring flowers:

Enjoy the moment ✿ Be creative and change your angle ✿ Shoot with a wide aperture to isolate the flower from the background ✿ Focus on the stamen/center of the flower.

I’ve had a few questions about the gear I use, so I thought I would just give you a peek into my camera bag near the end of the video.
I have a limited amount of gear and I don’t always use everything I have every time I go out, most of the time I just use one lens during a nature walk.
I mostly use the Canon 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS lens, and my new lens is the Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II. My main camera body is a Canon 5D Mark III. I don’t like to put emphasis on the gear that I use, I just like to go out and enjoy nature while taking pictures. You can get great photos with any camera, especially if you are enjoying the experience of being outside.
