Twitch Goals - Fun or Profit?

After a very long hiatus while I’ve been working on a side project, that being a Spotify channel, I’m back to making Content Creator guides. This one started due to a reddit post from someone named Weird Proposal who wanted to get some advice on just streaming for fun. Truthfully, starting for just fun is something you can absolutely do, however, you want to spend time thinking about it. Are you 100% sure that you will NEVER want to make this a side hustle? You never want to make money from it? There are certain things you want to do on day 1 before you ever start content creating if you are planning on doing it as a source of income. After all, time equals money, so why close a door to potential income early on. Nothing says you have to try to make money, but a few hours of thought will lead you to the right path in case you want to make money.

The major one I want to talk about is the importance of your name. The other is that you are actually starting a business.

This is just a starting point for hobbyists, and some food for thought for people who might want to make this a career.
