Fisherman captures wild crocodile scene in Aussie river at low tide | #yahoonewsau

Subscribe and turn on notifications🔔 : https://buff.ly/3F6ZiLt | A fisherman chasing barramundi in Far North Queensland has captured the wild moment a crab pot came under attack after a low tide left it exposed in the shallows.

Owner of charter company All Fed Up Gone Fishing, Jim Borthwick, told Yahoo News a 3.8 metre crocodile zoomed “straight for the crab pot” and stuck his head inside, before wrestling with it in an attempt to break in.

Jim said, “They can demolish pots completely. They tear them open, and they crush them. I’ve actually had tug-of-wars with crocodiles when we were going to check my crab pots, and they’ve been either stuck in them or hanging on to them.”

Unfortunately, it doesn’t always end well for the reptiles, as some smaller crocs find their way inside and get trapped and drown.
