Veteran Converts Ceiling Fan Into Airplane

Navy veteran Trae Zipperer converted a ceiling fan into a World War II fighter plane in the Hurricane Ian national disaster zone in Fort Myers, FL near Sanibel Island. If you enjoy this video, please watch one of my veteran headstone cleaning videos and clean a veteran's headstone by Memorial Day.

We lost our home to flood waters during Hurricane Ian and approximately 70% of our belongings, but God is providing everything we need exactly when we need it, including this moment of comedic distraction. This was 100% completely extemporaneous as I picked up a saltwater damaged ceiling fan in the backyard and tried to hold it up with one hand while opening the fence gate with the other hand. The breeze was blowing, the blades started to spin, and I envisioned myself as a pilot looking through the propeller of a World War II fighter plane.

Once through the gate I grabbed the fan with both hands and turned it vertical into the wind. The blades started to spin pretty fast. The rest is history.

For who knows how long children have pretended a mop was their trusted stead as they gallop around the house. For the first time ever, I guess we can now turn ceiling fans into airplanes!
