River broke into the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The heavy rains that hit the city of Belo Horizonte caused floods and landslides. Flash flood dragged cars along avenues in the capital of Minas Gerais. Strong streams of water knocked people down. About a thousand cars were sunk. A lot of shops located on the first floors suffered. Three main roads in Belo Horizonte were completely flooded.

The Federal University of Minas Gerais, in Pampulha, was flooded. At Cristiano Machado, people were stranded in cars in a current. Santa Inês Station was also flooded.

No one was injured, according to the Civil Police.
