Bird Box VS A Quiet Place

A Quiet Place is a horror movie that was directed by John Krasinski and it was a BIG success both critically and commercially.
Recently however Netflix released their own similar version of A Quite Place called Bird Box which has ALSO been a big success with regards to the amount of times it has been viewed. The reviews for Bird Box however are not as falltering as they were for A Quite Place.
But what did Eric think of both Bird Box and A Quite Place and more to the point, which movie is superior?
