Shazam! VS Captain Marvel

Both Shazam and Captain Marvel share the same superhero name but both characters are NOTHING alike. Marvel's Captain Marvel is a more serious character whereas DC's Shazam! is a much more lighthearted superhero who is treated to a coming of age character arc.
Regardless, which of the two Captain Marvel movies is superior, Shazam or Captain Marvel?
