K.Gostinsky-violin & M.Cardin-lute : Chaconne by S.L.Weiss

This is the Chaconne from the duo-sonata WSW14 in g minor by Silvius Leopold Weiss (1687-1750) with the reconstructed top part by Michel Cardin (original was lost). This duo was probably intended for the flute although, as suggested in many works of the period, it can be played by other instruments. This was part of a concert at the Beaumont Historic Church of Pré d'en Haut Summer Festival 2006, New-Brunswick, given by Karol Gostinsky and Michel Cardin.
