Michel Cardin 2001 : Ennemond Gaultier's Prelude

Michel Cardin plays, on a 11-course lute by Ancelin Vignes, Ennemond Gaultier's "Prélude non mesuré" in d minor, from the Saizenay Manuscript, at the first Maisonneuve Lute Festival in the historic Château Ramezay, Montréal. Maisonneuve was the founder of Montréal (1642) and a lutenist. That is why M.Cardin and Robert Derome founded the Lute Society of New France plus this festival.
