Tesla Gigafactory Texas 16 August 2020 Construction Update Video

Giga Texas construction update 16 August 2020. Work continues at a fast pace and the site had changed dramatically in only 3 ½ weeks since construction start. Some significant changes have happened in the past day or so as seen in this video. Here are some of these developments.
A few days ago, large drilling equipment started arriving onsite and it turns out it is part of the GeoPier Rammed Aggregate Pier® (RAP) systems.
It is essentially a three-step process. The process first involves drilling a cavity. Second, layers of aggregate are then put into the drilled cavity in thin lifts and mashed flat. Finally, the cavity is slowly filled up by repeating this process, vertically ramming the thin lifts of aggregate until a solid footing support is constructed.
Implications for Giga Texas are that the work to construct the building foundations can begin before the land is fully leveled and cleared of ponds and mounds. In fact, that can be plainly seen today as the clear outline of a main factory building is taking shape.
In addition, major progress has been made clearing and leveling the "north and south swamp" areas. Soon, these will be completely cleared and leveled.
Final major changes include the installation of 4 large temporary buildings on the east construction site, possibly the offices for the main construction company and a new clearing of land at the very far north outside of the main construction site.
