Environment & Peace in the Middle East -- Arava Institute
The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies is located in the Negev and is the leading regional research and training center for water conservation and sustainable agriculture. Dr. Tareq Abu Hamed, executive director of the Institute, talks about it here. A central part of its program is building trust and collaboration for its students and faculty from Israel, Palestinian Authority, and Jordan, and other parts of the Middle East.
