Shalom Sabar of the Hebrew University talks with Felicia Katz-Harris, Senior Curator/Curator of Asian and Middle Eastern Folk Art of the Museum of International Folk Art, about the Baghdadi Torah Scroll in the collection of the Museum. As a leading authority on Jewish art and Judaica from Arab lands he comments on the meanings of every aspect of this Torah case and scroll, which was dedicated in honor of a woman Sarah by her husband after she passed away. It is an example of the work of the well-known Jewish silversmiths of Baghdad. Jewish Learning Channel documentary.
