The restaurant had been founded in 2017 by John Brotherton and named to Texas Monthly's Top 50 BBQ Joints list in 2021. Although Brotherton passed away in 2024, his legacy continues. Brotherton's expressed gratitude for the community's support and is working to meet the increased demand.
