C.L. Unrath – König Karl-Marsch [German march]

This march was composed in 1868 by Carl Ludwig Unrath (1828-1908), who served as the Kapellmeister of the 4. Infanterie-Regiment ("4th Infantery Regiment"). This unit was stationed at Ulm, a city located in what was then the Kingdom of Württemberg, and thus the march was named in honour of king Karl of Württemberg (1823-1891).
Performed by the the Maritime Self Defense Force Band of Tokyo.
The accompanying painting of king Karl of Württemberg was made by the German artist Richard Lauchert (1823-1868).
