365 Ferrari fuel tank sender test

Moisture collects in the air space above the fuel level in a partially filled fuel tank that has sat for years unattended. The moisture corrodes any unprotected steel --such as the fuel tank electro-mechanical sending unit for the fuel gauge within the tank. This sender was covered in rust like golden moss. We glass beaded all the rust off of the assembly, and electroplated all steel in Zinc to protect surfaces in the future. As well, we sealed in gasoline-proof Epoxy the electric connections on the fuel side of the bolt-on top. All works fine now!
