Keeping Our Ships Afloat: Patching a Hole on USS The Sullivans DD-537

Preservation is a core value of the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park. The integrity of our attractions is under constant attack from harsh weather, debris bumping into the ship’s hull and damaging the steel plating, and the invasive zebra mussels that attach to the bottom of the ship.
