USS Cod in Dry Dock

On our next LIVE broadcast of Museum Ship Mafia, the guys are going to discuss the WW2 submarine USS Cod and the dry dock restoration that occurred in 2021.

The USS Cod is a WWII gato-class submarine that is part of the veterans memorial in-water display in Cleveland, Ohio. It is a great piece of World War Two history.

In the summer of 2021, while the USS Cod was being towed out to Lake Erie begin its journey to Erie, PA for dry dock repairs, it famously, yet accidentally, collided with the Coast Guard vessel USCGC Morro Bay.
