0:00 Intro
0:05 Ford Explorer. The vehicle overheated and they kept driving. Which most likely damaged the head gaskets, cylinder heads, and engine block, since they kept driving for so long (the customer did not want it diagnosed once they were told it was most likely engine damage). What you see in the clip is exhaust gases coming out radiator where the radiator goes on.
0:19 Whoever replaced the CV axle boot, never installed the bolt for the lower ball joint or left it loose and it backed out. Which caused the lower ball joint to pop out of the spindle, and caused the lower control arm to grind on the inside of the wheel. They aren't sure who actually did the work (customer or another shop).
0:27 No extra info. The work order is shown on the top right.
0:42 Most likely the customer hit something as all the tires are extremely bald and it's winter and their snow on the ground. When they hit something they bent the lower control arm and popped the driver's side front tire. All 4 tires should definitely be replaced.
1:02 Whoever repaired the tire for the customer left some tools inside the tire. You can hear the conversation between the customer and the mechanic.
1:15 They think the electrical tape was done by the customer, as they don't think any shop would ever do this. A new line got installed.
1:25 The technician said he's not sure why the customer did this as they were all pre-bent OEM lines that he installed. However, the shop made its own brake lines, installed them, and bled the brake system.
1:35 They said they could barely sit in the vehicle as there was so much dog hair just floating around and it made it hard to breathe. They had to take it for a test drive as well.
1:45 The technician cleaned/lubricated the window tracks.
1:54 The technician's boss called the police department as they had no clue who the bullets and mag belonged to and it wasn't the owners.
2:05 No extra info.
2:17 The technician said the insurance company came by and said the vehicle is a write-off (after the recall was done). The customer was too late to get the anti-theft software update completed as it's a huge issue for certain Hyundai models to get stolen.
2:30 The sign was removed and the customer did not mention anything about it.
2:41 No extra info.
2:51 ECM/PCM hanging down rubbing against the fan and close to exhausting. Should be up and close to the battery box. This could result in an expensive if not fixed.
2:58 The customer left the black cap on the battery terminal and installed the battery cable upside down (the terminal end is upside down).
3:06 LS swapped Dodge Caravan. Check out his channel @ https://www.youtube.com/@StationroadRatrods
3:13 Outro. Thanks for watching!
