Video Editing in Apple Vision Pro

Video Editing in Apple Vision Pro. First and foremost, I'm not a typical review channel so apologies if this isn't super flashy like the other guys. For my regular fans, I promised you guys a full office tour and behind the scenes at my video editing. Consider this a tease, especially with my plaque coming this week. That's been the real reason I've been delaying this video, is because I want that in the background.

Now for the video itself: Video editing with DaVinci in the Apple Vision Pro. Love or hate Apple, their products make waves. I was an android/PC guy my entire life until the iPhone 14 Pro, so I'm definitely not a fan boy. I just fell in love with that product, which led me to their other stuff and here we are! I have to say that this opens up so much more possibilities, because the competition will no doubt try to one up this, and in turn Apple will come back and so forth. This is how innovation works and as the consumer we all win.

Now is this necessary? Of course not, my studio setup is perfectly capable of handling all my video editing needs plus the day to day operations of running my businesses. But man I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I turn into a little kid using the AVP. For starters, no words here can describe how it truly is, not even a screen record. Having dozens of virtual displays locked into place in the real world, seamlessly switching by just looking at them is the future. For someone like me, I need 2 screens minimum for all I do.

With the AVP, I have my multiple Safari windows, email, text app and more all within my view. This is where the video editing comes in. I can have my software right in front of me, taking up the space of my entire wall in 4k (per eye) resolution. Nuts, right? Sort of. The technology is not there yet I feel to make a 100% switch to the virtual world, but it is CLOSE. I spent all day yesterday doing all my office work plus making this video here with the Vision Pro. There is a learning curve but it's easy and I feel pretty well versed in this now. Going forward I'll try to use this more so I can really learn all the ups and downs. Using the iPad Davinci app is the most fun, obviously for the gesture and touch controls. Need to brighting up the image? Just look at the shadows slider and literally pinch and drag it. It's so smooth that it's eerie.

This Vision Pro has some serious potential in the work space and video/photo editing world. Unfortunately all you see is the meme videos of people driving and looking ridiculous in public walking. Hopefully this video will show you what this can really do; your only limits with this are your creativity. This isn't an ad, and I have no links at all to buy this. Just wanted to give my 2 cents on this new technology as an office guy/video editor!
