One of the most iconic Medieval Queens of England was Eleanor of Castile, the wife of Edward I. She was a woman who kept her husband's side when he went on conquests across Wales and England, and she gave birth to a huge number of children. But much of this ended in tragedy. But Eleanor's own demise and death was incredibly sad, and she died whilst the Royal Court was on progress. But Eleanor was remarkably buried in 3 different locations, as her entrails were buried in one cathedral, her heart inside a priory and her body inside of Westminster Abbey!
