Clock push-up is a plyometric exercise that builds more lean muscle & explosive power in the upper body primarily in chest and triceps. Clock pushup is also a pre-requisite to learn more advanced pushup like Flying Squirrel/Helicopter pushup .Clock pushups targets fast-twitch ( Type II ) muscles, which are responsible for producing short bursts of power. You got to do the exercise as explosively as possible in order to recruit the fast-twitch fibers and increase power.
