Chocolate Dipped Pineapples

Hey everyone I just wanted to drop a quick little video of these chocolate covered pineapples that I made. Here is what you’ll need:
Melting Wafers (Candy Melts)
Pineapple rings
Wooden dowels
Vegetable shortening
Oreo crumbs
Strawberry crumbs (see how to make them here: https://youtu.be/CY6BWLqbSKE)
Decorating bags
Large plastic measuring cup

Drain and dry off your pineapple rings with paper towels
Freeze the pineapple rings until they are frozen solid
Add 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable shortening to your melting wafers, and microwave in 30 second intervals until melted.
Dip pineapples into melted chocolate and push down with dowel. Use dowel to lift pineapple out and allow to dry.
When adding crumbs do this quickly because the pineapples will dry fast.
Pour melted wafers into decorating bags and pipe onto pineapples.
