Veter bije v okno, ptice gredo na jug,
Poleg mene pa je predan prijatelj,
V nožnici se je zableščal meč-kladenec*,
Imam na izbiro: Smrt ali krst.

Obriši si solzo, ti si mi kot brat,
Ne govori: »Nisem kriv!«
Na tla spusti, svoj herojski meč,
Mojo vero mi ne bo omajal.

Brez pomilovanja za sovrage, proti žalosti in uporom,
V dlaneh tvojih prednikov je izvajal pravilne sodbe.
In posušena kri na runah na držalu...
Ti si izdajalec Bogov, ne morem te razumeti.

Dolgi skok, brizgi stekla,
Konj in meč, siva megla,
Strele švistijo, razumno streljajo?
Stepski veter, ne bojo ujele.

Zavihtel se je na prestol nori knez,

Wind bashes the windows, the birds go south,

I have a choice: death or baptism.

Lower your heroic sword to the ground,
You can't cut my faith with it.

No mercy towards enemies, against sadness and rebellions,
In the hands of your ancestors, your sword has brought right judgements.
And dry blood on the runes on the handle...
You're the betrayer of Gods, i can't understand you.

Long jump, shower of glass,
Horse and the blade, grey fog,
Arrows fly by, are they reasonably shooting?
They will not catch the wind of the steepes.

A madman duke, has come on the throne,
His blood is not pure, his power's illegal,
On the Sacred land the domes shall ascend,
If I am alive, they will burn to the ground!
