Abu Simbel Temple Scale Replica Fabrication Process
This projection mapped scale model of Abu Simbel was one of our favorite exhibits we made for the Houston Museum of Natural Science Hall of Ancient Egypt. The animation shows the slow decay of the temple over the last 3280(!!) years. We 3D printed 25 parts for the interior and robot arm sculpted and hard-coated the rock surround. Projection mapping by @64_design.
