Albanese’s recent ‘cash splash’ the ‘equivalent of trying to inflate a punctured ball’

The Prime Minister is just “signing off on your money” without “any idea what he is doing,” says Nationals Senator Matt Canavan.

Mr Canavan slammed Anthony Albanese and his government for their massive “cash splash” of several billion dollars in recent weeks.

“This is the equivalent of trying to inflate a beach ball after you have punctured a couple of holes in it beforehand,” he told Sky News Australia host Andrew Bolt.

“They have punctured the lungs of our economy and now they are trying to reinflate them.

“It would be a much better idea to lower taxes on investments … and then let the market work it out.”
