Sky News Investigations Reporter Jonathan Lea discusses the worrying rise in levels of microplastics finding their way into large swathes of Australia’s farmland.
“Our story this week looks at biosolids – it’s a fertiliser effectively which comes from wastewater and seems to be littered with microplastics,” Mr Lea told Sky News host Steve Price.
“The problem though is that it’s tremendously popular with farmers who’ve been told it’s organic.”
