Bernarda stays with Isabel in her hospital room. Nurses walks in and informs Bernarda, that doctor Villa wants to speak with her. Isabel feels, there are be bad news ahead. Bernarda tries to calm her down and tells Isabel, that mothers can overcome many obstacles, even those regarding health of their children. Manuela tries to return to her bedroom in Amelia's pension without getting caught by Rudy. But it is too late, Rudy is waiting for Manuela in her bedroom. He asks questions, where Manuela was, what did she there etc. Manuela has no will to answer those questions.
