Head up, ears out, tail out and trunk a'bouncing as Khanyisa takes her morning dash to her new family, the Jabulani Herd.

Lundi, Kumbura and Tokwe welcomed her with lots of morning love, while Bubi joined from behind.

As soon as she joins them, and they say their greetings, the herd heads out to forage for the day. The birds were singing, and curious giraffes looked on as they walked by peacefully, in that gracious elephant kind of way.

Tigere, an elephant manager at Jabulani, shared his thoughts about how the herd are settling down with Khanyisa. It is an exciting time for their elephant care team to see their relationships develop and a slight change in the dynamics of the herd as they accustomed used to Khanyisa being a new addition to their unique and special family!
