More than 6' of snow has fallen in places along the SIerras with heavy snow still falling. In Soda Springs, the roof of the post office now meets the ground where snow has piled up. Cars are completely buries making them unrecognizable. Travel is nearly impossible as cars get stuck and people are trying to dig out. Plows struggle to keep up. A large stretch of I-80 is now closed.
