01-27-2021 Mount Shasta, CA - Digging Out During Major Winter Storm

The town of Mount Shasta, California was buried overnight by an estimated 30" of snow. There was very little snow around town before this storm began. Interstate 5 is still shut down from Redding to Yreka, a length of about 100 miles. People who stayed at our hotel were busy digging out their vehicles this morning. Workers around town were scurrying to plow the roads and parking lots.
