Since my last Safemoon video in early November the price has continued to fall. Although the V2 migration is underway as the kinks get worked out. More on that in a moment. There are more hodlers now than ever, there are 200,000 more followers on their twitter and added 10,000 more in their subreddit.

There was an article written about that very thing earlier this month. And they consistently rank in the top 10 cryptos mentioned on twitter. At the end of the day, whether you hate safemoon or on the team, you have to give Safemoon some credit in that loyalty department. That #safemoonarmy is legit. This is why you were the crypto community of the year.

Now let’s talk about V2, SafeMoon’s V2 upgrade will improve the security on the network. The upgraded contract brings utility features like reducing tax by 80% for ecommerce and wallet transfers. For SafeMoon users, the net value of their holdings will remain the same.
But V2 is still trading sideways because of arbitrage. If you don’t know, Arbitrage is the simultaneous buying and selling of securities, currency, or commodities in different markets or in derivative forms in order to take advantage of differing prices for the same asset.

Murky lad explained it well on reddit: As long as you can buy on V1, use the migrate function to move to V2 and sell there at a higher price, the prices will never exceed the total cost to do so with the taxes and fees. so right now whenever there is a more than 30% ish difference the arbitrage actors will go into action to buy on V1 and sell on V2.

But bots are being used to get the timing in their favor. Until you can no longer buy on V1, bots are going to continue to do this and make a profit.

Doing this manually is difficult and I would highly suggest not trying to do it manually, but until this is solved, V1 is an anchor and V2 will continue trading sideways. But once it’s fixed, we will likely see a price bump. Now when, that’s the money question, literally.

With the recent drama with Papa Thomas people took as if it was detrimental to Safemoon because he had gotten to be so popular, but, it may have been the best thing for Safemoon.

There are lots of rumors out there about him not being completely truthful regarding job offers with ripple and his claims of helping develop Doge, whatever.

However, my two cents, if any of this stuff is true, and often times where there are multiple accusations of dishonesty, there tends to be that.

So, although you may have been disappointed to hear that about the blockchain wizard they call papa, was leaving, it may have been for the best for safemoon long term.

Those are tough decisions that John has to make with his team. My whole point being, you have to trust that their making the best decisions behind the scenes for Safemoon. If they were trying to rugpull everyone, why not keep the most popular player on the team to help pump it.

There is some new partnership rumors being thrown around with Netflix because there has been several pictures taken with Brandon Frugal. Brandon is a mega rich broker, real-estate mogul, Netflix producer, tech investor, and even helped ancestry.com get to where they’re at.

He also owns skinwalker ranch known for paranormal and UFO activity.

Now that part could be coincidence, but having all of that in common seems awfully odd but oddly perfect. Hearing more definitive details but obviously some kind of docuseries on safemoon could be a massive catalyst.

What I would like to see that would drive that Safemoon price to new all-time highs, other than the halt of V1 buying and a potential Netflix series haha, and what I think would build a lot more confidence into Safemoon, is John needs to load up with more talent on the team if he wants to compete with some of the big dogs.
Not saying his team doesn’t have talent, I’m saying some developers with verifiable achievements in the crypto space would bode well to their legitimacy and dial down the FUD. But with partnerships with guys like Brandon Frugal, they could get exactly that.
