Right now, AVAX is trading for around the $100 mark with a market cap of approximately 25.5 billion making the 10th biggest crypto by market cap, and look how close they are to Dot, with DOT seeing a massive dip here lately, don’t be surprised to see these guys switch.

Ok, so why the jump today which a lot of others were in the red? The jump started when financial-technology company Circle said that the USD Coin or USDC, is now available on the Avalanche network, giving the smart contracts blockchain access to an unprecedented amount of liquidity.

Which is a great step towards their resiliency when we move into that bear market. In my humble non-financial advisor opinion, this is a resilient alt-coin to have in your portfolio.

Avalanche is the tenth-largest cryptocurrency by market value, clocking in at $25.2 billion today. That number will move up a lot. USD Coin is even larger, with a $41.7 billion market cap, making it the seventh-largest digital currency and the second-largest stablecoin.

But why does that new liquidity matter?
With Avalanche integrating USDC, it will reduce transaction fees on the Avalanche network, which previously relied on Ethereum transactions to settle fees.

Everyone that is experienced in this space knows Ethereum transactions are expensive and slow, I mean the Avalanche network promises support for up to 4,500 transactions per second, putting Ethereum to shame.

So this new liquidity upgrade is a major boost to the Avalanche network and should bring in many more projects.
But listen to this from Bank of America and I think this is important.

Smart-contract platform Avalanche’s ability to scale while remaining secure and decentralized makes it a credible alternative to Ethereum for DeFi projects, NFTs, gaming and other assets, Bank of America said in a research report.

Deloitte’s decision to use the Avalanche platform for its Close as You Go (CAYG) disaster-relief platform shows how corporations can “leverage blockchain technology to increase efficiencies and reduce costs,” Bank of America said.

BofA said it expects corporate adoption of blockchain technology to occur sooner than later.

The Deloitte thing he is referring to is Avalanche reached an agreement with “big four” accounting firm Deloitte, to enable the ability to streamline funds for FEMA.

Deloitte plans on leveraging the Avalanche blockchain to bolster its own attempts at developing applications to provide disaster relief compensation for state and local governments.

So just within a month, we have the liquidity announcement, the Deloitte partnership that sounds as if it could be a foot in the door for government spending, and financial institutions are coming out praising Avalanche and saying they’re a viable competitor to Ethereum and they believe corporate adoption will happen sooner than later, which will lead to mass adoption.
Once that corporate adoption starts to hit, the price for cryptos like Avalanche is going to soar. Again, if you’re not paying attention to Avalanche, or if they’re not already in your portfolio, you really need to consider them.
