Coolest lil Capital City WELLINGTON | NZ Road Trip Vlog 3/3

This is the final vlog from our 3 part North Island, NZ road trip. We finally made it to the capital of New Zealand, Wellington!

Our first stop was to Zealandia, an urban ecosanctuary right in the heart of Wellington city. You can either wander around the grounds on your own or go with a tour guide. We bought the general admission to explore on our own. Awesome thing is the pass is valid for two consecutive days so you can go back again the next day.

For lunch we ate at a little pizzeria called Pizza Pomodoro. Absolutely delicious pizza and totally satisfied our cheese craving too. It's tucked away in an alley very near popular Cuba Street.

Our Airbnb was only a few minutes walk from the Wellington Cable Car (top end) making it an awesome location. Modern, immaculately clean, spacious and with interesting architecture too. Our host Brenda was warm and welcoming, making it a great 2 night stay for us.

To visit the Wellington Wind Turbine aka Brooklyn Wind Turbine, you can either do a hike or drive right up to it. If you take the pedestrian route, you'll end up passing the Brooklyn Army Bunkers which is well worth a visit for great views of Wellington city where you can wander around interesting bunkers covered in graffiti art too.
