Loose Parts and STEAM Keys School Virtual Conference June 2021

STEM Education Consultant Diana Wehrell-Grabowski, PhD conducted an interactive plenary session for the Remote Learning in Action Virtual Conference hosted by Keys School Manila, Philippines. Participants were introduced to the Theory of Loose Parts, and how loose parts can be incorporated within STEAM learning experiences to promote STEAM. The following video is a sampling of photos of STEAM and loose parts projects undertaken by the participants during the session. Participants created three-dimensional faces using readily available materials from around the home. Hanoch Piven "Let's Make Faces" provides inspiration for this STEAM challenge.
