I found this vintage brass electric lamp stuck in the mud in a horse barn. It's not extremely old, or very ornate. Heck! it's not even really very good quality! But it was an excellent challenge to bring it back to life again. It was a true piece of junk in every sense, and now it is a neat piece of lighting in my shop.
this Restoration includes Torches, sandblasting, silver soldering, glass etching, electric wiring, and lots of metal polishing. I even try a brass cleaning method of mixing Vinegar, flour, and salt. It worked enough that I want to try it on future projects. I think the brass was beyond tarnished, and not of good quality in this case.
Note: It came to my attention through a comment that has since disappeared (not sure why) that Zoltar is viewed by some as a culturally offensive symbol. I had never given this a thought. I offer an apology and will not include Zoltar in any future videos.
