Magic Lantern Restoration

I picked up a magic lantern in less than perfect condition. Had been overpainted, damaged a little, and had dangerous components in it.

Originally a victorian machine which would have been gas lamp or candle lit, this had, had some work in the 40's or so to allow a bulb to work in it.

This was done with meccano and a box underneath for a fan and controller. This was all bakelite and needed removing along with the box.

I decided to keep the meccano to hold the new LED bulb in the lantern.

I hope i've got this right, it projects on the wall, focuses and doesn't overheat. I've left enough space to add a small fan if needed though.
