Painting a Small Workshop Sign

I needed a new workshop sign. I though i'd us an old farming implement i picked up a few years back to do it on.

As it has a massive dull spike at the end, i can use it to hang a coat on as well.

I used 3 colours, Red White and Black and kept the design fairly simple.

Because of the heavy pitting of the item it was quite difficult to paint, so kept the enamel quite thick.

To put the design on the item i use saral paper.
