Hot Mess

The plaintiff says on his very first date with the defendant, the defendant’s ex attacked him. He claims the defendant is so jealous of his success as an entertainer that he threw his clothes on a grill and burned them, so he’s suing. The defendant says his ex lives in a fantasy world, and he’s countersuing for emotional distress.
