You’ll sometimes hear people say that A-students end up working for C-students or that C-students are smarter than A-students, but is there any truth to this? On the one hand, A-students are able to work well within a system and follow instructions. They often have a strong work ethic and employ several strategies to optimize their performance. This includes proper nutrition, exercise, and stress-management, and techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork. On the other hand, C-students may have more balance, better people skills, and be more resilient to failures. Let's explore both sides of the argument to answer the question: does it pay to be a good student?
