Progressive sanding aluminum for final finish

Spinning is an antique metal forming trade. The machine you see here did NOT form these covers. Yet, we modified this heavy duty potters wheel to rotate here a Bugatti wheel cover that must have details polished to mirror finish at the raised ring and outer lip. Our "Vertical Lathe" helps a lot in this "Wet Sanding" process. Once at 400 grit, we buff for the final polished surfaces.
