The $5m King Charles III Stakes to be run alongside The Everest for the first time

Racing NSW Chief Operating Officer Graeme Hinton says the King Charles III Stakes has attracted the best miler in Australia currently, Mr Brightside, as well as brilliant horses from Europe to compete.

Mr Hinton discussed the $5m King Charles III Stakes set to run at Royal Randwick alongside The Everest for the first time ever.

“That mile mark is a bit of a test of our Australian good sprinting stock where the European are more staying horses,” he told Racing Dreams.

“So, it will be interesting to see how that goes.

“We couldn’t be happier with how that field came together.”
