Watch Market Prices Soaring 2020! - Audemars, Rolex, & Patek!

A few days after the elections and the watch market prices are still on the rise. Audemars Piguet is one brand that has seen some exponential increase in the last 3 months. With the prices of the gold models increasing easily above 25% in the preowned and unworn market the question is when will it stop? The last video I did on the current state of the watch market had prices high but still at a comprehensible level. Rolex Day-Date2 41mm prices were at an all time high at above $35k, but three months later we see that those still are in the same price range. Same goes for the infamous reigning champ of value, the Patek Philippe Nautilus. Prices have remained steady as well. The one brand that has seen the most surprising rise by far for me is Audemars Piguet. Everything in the Royal Oak range from the standard Self Winding 41mm in steel up to the Perpetual Calendar has seen significant increases in the last 3 months. Many people are asking me if I feel that they will continue to rise. At this point it is hard to say because 3 months ago I would have never thought that we would be were we are now as far as prices are concerned. I would say that if you have one of these watches, now is the time to sell.
