Vanilla Cake from SCRATCH!!! Easy and delicious!!

Hi everyone thank you for sharing your time with me and tuning in to Maria’s kitchen. Today I am making a cake from scratch and cooking along side a very good friend 😀It’s super EASY and I hope You have fun and make this cake with your family. Simple ingredients you probably have in your kitchen. Me and Lisa showed some simple frosting techniques, but I’ll be doing another show to go into more detail on icing cakes. Ingredients:
1 2/3 cups All purpose Flour
1 Cup sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp kosher SALT
3/4 Cup unsalted butter (melted)
3 egg whites (room temperature)
1TBSP real vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 Cup whole milk (warmed)
9 inch cake pan
Parchment paper (Reynolds Brand)
Cooking spray
Pastry Pride whipped topping (from Smart & Final store)

Instructions:

First preheat your oven to 350 degrees .Sift the flour, sugar, salt and baking soda baking powder over a large bowl. Next whisk flour mixture around and combine well. Set aside. Next separate your egg whites and let them sit for a bit to come to room temperature. Melt your 3/4 cup butter and set aside.After eggs are at room temperature add them to another bowl and add melted butter and sour cream, 1 Tbsp vanilla and add warm milk and whisk till combined. Add wet ingredients to to flour mixture and whisk mix together it May be clumpy no worries and don’t over mix to much . Cut your parchment paper and spray your 9 inch cake pan and put paper at the bottoms of pan. Now pour cake mix into pan and tap pan on counter to get air bubbles out and they will come to the surface. Put cake pan into heated oven and bake about 25-30 minutes but check at that point with a toothpick and center of cake springs forth when touched.If it needs longer time give it another 5 minutes or so. When done take out of the oven turn it off and let it sit on counter or stove top and cool 10 minutes and then use a spatula to loosen the sides of the cake and then turn over onto a plate or cake board and let cool make sure you take the parchment paper off the bottom of the cake. Let cake cool 30 minutes or put into the refrigerator for 30 minutes before frosting.Now time to frost with whipped topping or vanilla buttercream I have a recipe on a link.
